This new book optimizes methods of effective shoots regeneration for a Russian selection of sunflower varieties. A highly effective method of sunflower regeneration in vitro is worked out, where mature embryo (seeds) as explant sources are used. This method enables obtaining four explants with a high regeneration potential from one sunflower seed. The rate of regeneration on the worked out explants ranges from 4583.45 % to 3090.30 % depending on genotype. (Imprint: Novinka)
