Yuriy S. Alexandrovich, MD, PhD., is Professor, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, and Vice-Rector for Postgraduate and Additional Professional Education at Saint Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University, where he heads the Department of Anesthesiology, Intensive Care and Emergency Pediatrics. His research focuses on pediatric anesthesiology, critical care, pain management, and sepsis in children. He serves as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the journal Pediatrician (St. Petersburg) and has authored over 300 publications in the field of pediatric critical care medicine.
