Yulia Yu. Gavronskaya got the degree of Teacher in Chemistry (1982), Ph.D. in Chemistry (1992) and Doctor in Pedagogics (2009) in the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, where she continues working as professor in the Department of Chemistry. She is the author of more than 100 publications in the fields of Chemical and Pedagogical Science; research experience in chemistry is tightly connected with porous glass synthesis, properties and applications.
