Regional Representative, International Water Management Institute (IWMI), Lead of the CGIAR Water System, MENA Region

Dr. Youssef Brouziyne is a water management and climate change expert, currently the Regional Representative for the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) in the MENA region. He holds a PhD in Water and Environmental Sciences from Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Morocco and has degrees in Integrated Crop Management and Marketing. Dr. Brouziyne has extensive experience in sustainability, having worked at Corteva Agriscience and contributed to various projects in North Africa and Southern Europe. As a professor at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, he focuses on climate-smart agriculture and hydrological systems, authoring over 50 publications on water security and climate resilience.
