Yildiz Dincer (PhD) is professor of biochemistry in Istanbul University- Cerrahpasa, Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty, Istanbul, Turkey. In 1999, she studied as a short term scholarship researcher in the team of Dr. Tomas Lindahl, who shared the 2015 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, in Imperial Research Fund-Clare Hall Laboratories. Her research subjects are oxidative DNA damage, DNA repair, antioxidants and epigenetics in cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.
