Dr. Yi-Tung Chan graduated summa cum laude from the R.O.C. Naval Academy, Chung Cheng Institute of Technology, and School of Defense Science in 2003, 2010, and 2017, respectively. He has served for 17 years in the Navy and been awarded several medals. These awards are bestowed upon members of the Ministry of National Defense R.O.C. (Taiwan) who distinguish themselves through an outstanding meritorious achievement. Dr. Chan has more than 12 years of experience in research and working with ensemble learning. He was a recipient of the Academic Research Award for Excellence from the R.O.C. Naval Academy in 2018 and 2020. He was also presented with the R.O.C. Naval Outstanding Teacher Award in 2020. Dr. Chan has received several patents for his invention.
