Wladyslaw Mitianiec

Wladyslaw Mitianiec was graduated in Gdansk Technical University at Mechanical Faculty in 1972. For many years he worked as the designer of motorcycle and industrial engines and next in Cracow University of Technology as professional designer and researcher and as the leader of national projects. He is the author of design of many small power engines and fuelling systems applied on the market. In 1998 he received the Doctor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. Since 2000 he started the scientific work in CUT, where after habilitation (2006) he received the Doctor Habilitation degree and in 2011 he was employed as Professor of CUT. He is the author of five engine scientific books and more than 70 individual scientific papers. Recently he was engaged in several European projects concerning the engine development and he cooperated with many European research institutions. His scientific work is concerned on the development of engine systems and increasing of their total efficiency. He is the specialist in modeling and simulation of the physical and thermodynamic processes in IC engines.
