Wayne M. Garrison received his PhD in psychometrics from Purdue University. His academic career has focused on the application of statistical methods and computer graphics within the psychological sciences to the measurement of human factors, most notably those impacting hearing healthcare. He served as principal architect of the software undergirding this monograph.
