Vinay Kumar Nassa is currently working as a professor in the Department of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) at Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies (TIAS), which the first institute to receive the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) A+ Grade. Prior to this, he worked as a professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at K.E. Society’s Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, which is an autonomous institute affiliated with Shivaji University, Kolhapur, and is accredited with an A+ NAAC Grade. Most of the programs at Rajarambapu Institute of Technology are accredited and reaccredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
He has been credited in over 70 international journals, including SCI, SCOPUS, and UGC-CARE. Additionally, he has contributed to international conference proceedings at a national level and has written several book chapters. He is a member of various professional bodies including the Computer Society of India (CSI), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and IANGE. He is also a panel reviewer of many national and international journals.
He has 27 years of teaching experience and 5 years of industrial experience. Further, he has had experience establishing new institutes, receiving NBA and NAAC accreditations, and working as Director/Principal of various institutions. His major research areas are Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Mobile Ad hoc Networks and Deep Learning.
