Vidya Nand Singh obtained his M.Sc. from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India with specialization in Solid State Physics and his M.Tech. in Solid State Materials from IIT Delhi, India. He obtained his Ph.D. from IIT Delhi in the area of nanocomposite-based gas sensors. He is working as a Principal Scientist at CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi. His research interest includes gas sensors, solar cells, nanomaterials and HRTEM. He has published more than 190 papers in international journals. He has several book chapters and an edited book. He is on the editorial board of a few journals.
