Victoria Serhiyenko is a Vice-Rector of Scientific work at Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University (Ukraine), Professor of the Department of Endocrinology. She has over 20 years of experience in diabetes mellitus research and clinical practice and is the co-author of 15 books, more than 500 scientific publications, and 7 patents. Her research focuses on cardiovascular complications of type 2 diabetes, cardiac autonomic neuropathy, diabetic distress, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Prof. Serhiyenko is an active member of leading European and Ukrainian endocrine societies and serves on several international editorial boards.
