Victor A. Dubrovsky was a naval engineer with a diploma from Tallinn Polytechnic Institute in 1961. After that he became a Senior Design Naval Architect of Design department of Tallinn Ship repair Yard, until 1964. He was a Post-Graduate student of Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute, until 1967, as well as completeing a science degree of Candidate of Technical Science in 1967. Victor A. Dubrovsky was also a Research Specialist of Central Research Institute of Merchant Fleet, until 1970 and a leading Research Specialist of cad. Krylov Shipbuilding Research Center, until 2001. He completed his science degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in 1993.
