Veronica Sanda Chedea is a Senior Scientist at the Research Station for Viticulture and Enology Blaj, Romania and associate member of the Romanian Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences (ASAS). She received her MSc in Biotechnology from the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania, Greece, in 2004 and her doctorate in Biotechnology from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Romania, in 2009. She has performed research in Greece, the Russian Federation, Vietnam, the UK, Japan and Romania in the field of phenolic antioxidants from different natural sources and with applications in analytical biochemistry, animal nutrition and human disease prevention.
