Alexandr Serhiyenko is a Professor of the Department of Endocrinology at Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University. His research interests include diabetes mellitus, atherosclerosis, cardiovascular complications of diabetes, diabetic cardiomyopathy, and diabetic neuropathies, particularly cardiovascular autonomic neuropathy. She is the author and co-author of more than 600 scientific publications, 20 books, and 7 patents. A member of leading Ukrainian and European endocrine societies, she has served as Principal Investigator in 35 clinical trials and completed postgraduate training courses across Europe.
