Valeriu V. Jinescu, Professor at University Politehnica of Bucharest, is a Doctor Honoris Causa of five universities and has been awarded several prizes for his achievements in science. He has published 35 scientific and technical books. He is a full member of the Technical Sciences Academy of Romania and currently serves as its President.
