Dr. Usha Tiwari (Senior Member, IEEE) is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of EECE at Sharda University. Dr. Tiwari holds a Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, in the field of Data Compression Schemes for Wireless Sensor Networks. She completed her M.Tech in Electronics & Communication from MDU, Rohtak, in 2010. Dr. Usha graduated with honours from UPTU, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, in 2005, with a degree in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. She holds the 8th rank in the top ten merit list declared by UPTU in 2005. She has 20 years of experience. She is a Senior Member of IEEE and has authored more than 30 research papers in reputable international journals and conferences. She played key roles in Institution building as IIC coordinator, NBA coordinator, and NAAC coordinator. She also published 12 patents.
