Ty Ferré is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Hydrology and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Arizona. He and his students research how hydrologic measurements and models can be combined to improve water resources decision making. He received his B.Eng. from the Colorado School of Mines and his Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo. He was the National Groundwater Association's Darcy Lecturer in 2016.
