Tommaso Claudio Mineo has devoted himself to thoracic surgery since 1969. After his primary surgical training, he served as a surgical fellow at diverse renowned centers worldwide such as the Laennec Hospital in Paris, the Karolinska Institute in Sweden and others. He authored about 200 peer-reviewed papers covering all the main thoracic surgery areas. Since 2002, he is the Head of the Myasthenia Gravis Unit at the Tor Vergata University of Rome, Italy.
