Dr. Tharindi Suriapperuma, MBBS, DCH, MD, is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Paediatrics at Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya. She graduated MBBS with second (upper) class honours winning three distinctions, gold medals for Paediatrics and Surgery and the University of Kelaniya Alumni Association gold medal for the best performance. She obtained MD in Paediatrics with Prof Sanath P. Lamabadusuriya gold medal for best performance in the clinical examination and Prof. Priyani E. Soysa gold medal for best overall performance. She has authored several peer-reviewed publications and presented papers in international scientific meetings.
