Professor Tatiana Minkina is Head of the Soil Science and Land Evaluation Department at Southern Federal University. Areas of her scientific interest are soil science, biogeochemistry of trace elements, soil monitoring, assessment, modelling, and remediation using physicochemical treatment methods. She has a total of 757 scientific publications in nationally and internationally reputed journals. Currently, she is handling projects funded by the Russian Scientific Foundation, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, and the Russian Foundation of Basic Research.
