Tamás Szabados has a PhD in Mathematics from the Loránd Eötvös University, Budapest, Hungary. He lectured at the Department of Mathematics of the Budapest University of Technology & Economics between 1972 and 2013, when he retired as an Associate Professor. His primary research areas include probability theory, stochastic analysis, time series analysis, and applications in biology and human evolution.
