Surabhi Jasrotia received her Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, India. The author has completed her Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu) in India. She has attended many national and international conferences and has published work in reputed journals like Brazilian Journal of Microbiology (BJM), Proceedings of National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) and is presently working on many more papers. Her area of research interests are microbial isolation and diversity study, mycology and biocontrol of plant pathogens. Her area of specialization include improvement of crop plants for biotic stresses and agronomic traits through microbiome study. She has screened the various cultural and non-cultural microorganisms of cereal and legume crop rhizospheres.
