Sunil Singh Kushvaha obtained his M.Sc. from Department of Physics, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India with specialization in Electronics and his M.Tech. in Solid State Materials from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, India. He obtained his PhD in Physics from Department of Physics, National University of Singapore, Singapore. Currently, he is working as a Principal Scientist at CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi. His research interest includes photo-detectors, epitaxial III-nitride materials, 2D materials and topological insulators, among others. He has published more than 62 papers in international journals. He has published several book chapters. He is a review editor of Frontiers in Materials. He is Life member of Materials Research Society of India, Indian Physics Association, Metrological Society of India.
