Dr. Sukanta Rana has been working as an Assistant Professor at Raniganj Girls’ College under Kazi Nazrul University, West Bengal, India. He has engaged in diverse activities like teaching, training, extension and research work about agriculture, aquaculture, ecological engineering and waste management since 2005 in order to protect our environment and develop the rural economy. He has published more than 15 research articles in reputed national and international journals and contributed more than 2 chapters in edited books published by internationally esteemed publishers. He is a life member of the Indian Science Congress and Next Generation Scientist Club.
