Dr. Su-I Hou is Professor and the Health track coordinator of the interdisciplinary Doctoral Program in Public Affairs at the College of Health and Public Affairs, the University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL. Her research focuses on community and worksite strategies to promote early detection of selected cancers and HIV/AIDS. Her emerging research lies in programs and models to promote healthy aging in place. Most of her research has involved working with community partners in developing and validating study instruments, assessing psycho-social factors, developing and evaluating evidence-based health programs.
