Dr. Sourabh Sharma holds an LL.M. in human rights and has a PhD in law. He has more than seven years of teaching and legal research experience. He has published more than 15 papers in reputed journals and has organized more than 15 international conferences, international FDPs and international workshops. Dr. Sharma has wide research experience in human rights law and explores advancement in law with respect to human rights values. His thesis titled “An Analytical Study of the Low Conviction Rate in Crime Against Women with Special Reference to Gwalior Chambal Division” investigated the troubling issue of low conviction rates in crimes targeting women, focusing specifically on India’s Gwalior Chambal Division. By exploring the underlying factors contributing to this disconcerting trend, the research delves into the challenges faced by the justice system in delivering effective legal outcomes for female victims of crimes in the region.
