Sofia Mavrikou is a Researcher at the Department of Biotechnology at the Agricultural University of Athens, Greece. She holds a PhD in biosensors and in vitro toxicology with background studies in Biotechnology. She has working experience in the fields of food safety and analysis and she is the author or co-author of several publications in international scientific journals and conference presentations.
