Ms. Smriti Parashar is currently working as Assistant Professor at Department of Pharmacology, Vedic Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. She completed her B PHARM and M PHARM from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. She has participated in CSIR sponsored National Seminar on ‘Drug Targeting for Therapeutic Benefit’ in 2013 and presented poster entitled ‘Potential Cancer Therapy by Targeting Notch Signalling Pathway’ which was selected for the best scientific content award. She has done pharma-analytical and pharmacology work on various plant extracts to study antioxidant and hepatoprotective property. Her work on hepatoprotective activity of Ziziphus rugosa Lam. extract in experimental animals is published in Indian drugs (Scopus indexed). She has published two books also with Nirali Prakashan, Pune.
