Dr. Simone Garzon graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Verona (Italy) in 2013. In 2019, he completed the residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Insubria (Varese, Italy). In August 2019, he began a research fellowship at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, USA. The research fellowship had as its main research object endometrial cancer and minimally invasive surgery. In addition to endometrial cancer and minimally invasive surgery, his research activity is mainly focused on fertility preservation, infertility, endometriosis, and polycystic ovary syndrome. However, his interests include all aspects in the field of obstetrics and gynecology and in particular research methodology.

He is author of more than 70 papers published in international peer-reviewed journals and book chapters. He is currently an editor of high-impact journals, including PLOS One, BMC Women’s Health, Open Medicine, and others. As a reviewer, he was awarded as an excellent reviewer by Web of Science in 2019.
