Sílvia Socorro, born 1971, Portugal, received her PhD from University of Algarve, Portugal in 2001. She is a professor of “Biology of Reproduction” at the University of Beira Interior, Portugal. Silvia Socorro works in the field of nuclear receptors with a focus on the study of hormonal actions in reproductive physiology and carcinogenesis.
