Shlomo Nir completed his PhD in Theoretical Physics in 1969. From 1970-1980 he received his RPMI from Buffalo NY. He also participated in Cancer Research Scientist I-IV. He was an associate Professor for Hebrew University; Department of Soil and water Sciences in 1980. He developed the micelle-clay complex for water purification; models for cation adsorption; particle aggregation; membrane fusion; endocytosis; pore formation; filtration of a solution with several pollutants; adsorption and degradation. He has published 254 articles in peer reviewed scientific Journals and books; 3 books; 5 patents; h-index 60.
