Shi-Ming Tu received his bachelor degree from the Johns Hopkins University, and medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Currently, he is at the University of Texas, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles, including a book, Origin of Cancers: Clinical Perspectives and Implications of a Stem-Cell Theory of Cancer (Springer, 2010).
