Dr. Sheo Mohan Prasad is a Professor of Botany at the University of Allahabad in India. He obtained his academic degrees from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. His research interests include the effect of different exogenously supplemented protectants (phytohormones, secondary metabolites, signaling agents, mineral nutrients etc.) on morphology, physiology and biochemistry of cyanobacteria and plants under abiotic stresses (heavy metal(loid)s, UV-B, pesticides, salinity, temperature, high light etc.). Professor Prasad is also working as an editor and reviewer of several esteemed journals. He has supervised 27 D.Phil. students. Professor Prasad has authored more than 200 scientific publications. He has edited more than 10 books with world class publishers. According to Google Scholar, Dr. Prasad’s publications received over 5851 citations with an h-index of 41 and an i10-index of 96.
