Sergei Abramovich is Professor in the School of Education and Professional Studies at State University of New York at Potsdam. His current scholarly interests include projects dealing with experimental mathematics for teachers, technology and problem posing (including mathematics curriculum design), hidden mathematics curriculum of teacher education, the relationship between algorithmic thinking and conceptual knowledge, and early technology-enhanced mathematics experiences with an engineering/science focus. He is the sole author/editor of eight books and more than 200 articles on the use of computers in mathematics education. His service to the educational community includes membership on editorial boards of eight professional journals published in the United States and elsewhere.
