Professor Sarah Ben David is chair of the Department of Criminology, Ari’el University Centre, Israel and part time lecturer in Bar-Ilan University. She is a Senior Clinical Criminologist, served for many years as a therapist at the Mental Health and Clinical Criminology Center in the Israeli Prison. Currently she holds the chair of the Criminological Advisory Board to the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Public Security. She also served as the head of the Department of Criminology at Bar Ilan University, where she taught for many years, and officiated as Vice-President of the World Society of Victimology. Professor Ben- David sits in the editorial board of Journal of Ethnicity in Criminal Justice, and Israeli Criminology, and also acts as reviewer for several Journals. Her academic work includes publications in the fields of Victimology and Criminology, especially issues related to sexual victims and offenders.
