Sandra Figueiredo has a degree in Classical Languages Teaching (2005) and PhD in Psychology (2010) from the University of Aveiro, Portugal. She is an assistant Professor of Psychology in the Department of Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, Lisbon, Portugal and Scientific Post-Doctoral Researcher (Foundation for Science and Technology; Center for Psychology Research – CIP/UAL; and Center for Education Research, ISPA-Instituto Universitário). Sandra Figueiredo developed scientific work as assistant in scientific national projects in the Education and Psychology areas. She is an active researcher in the areas of Education and Psychology, mainly focusing language. The themes she is developing are related to the second language learners’ assessment, cognition and students’ achievement, instruments validation for schools and for skills evaluation, and diurnal types related to the school timetables.
