Dr. Salman Shooshtarian is a post-doctoral research fellow in the School of Property, Construction and Project Management. Salman received his PhD in Built Environment from RMIT University. Since completing his PhD in 2017, Salman has been involved in several national and international research projects in the field of sustainable built environment and design. As an Early Career Researcher, Dr. Shooshtarian has a growing reputation for research excellence, evidenced by 56 high-quality scholarly publications. His recent research focusing on circular construction and demolition (C&D) waste resources has made outstanding contributions to the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry and has informed C&D waste policy development in Australia’s several public and industry organisations.
