Sadie Samsoondar is studying the micropalaeontology of the Cipero Formation of Trinidad at The University of the West Indies, at which she is a teaching assistant for the Petroleum Geoscience Programme. Her published work has included deciphering the palaeo-topography of Trinidad during Miocene times and detecting intervals and areas of enhanced deep-sea current action within the Cipero Formation.
