Dr. Nagaraj Subramani completed his Post Graduate degree (M.Sc.) and Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Botany from Madurai Kamaraj University in Tamil Nadu, India. Subsequently, he acquired a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Botany (Specialization in Algology) under the mentorship of the legendary eminent Indian Phycologist Prof. R. Rengasamy in the year 2007. He has published 40 research articles in peer-reviewed journals with good impact factors and three books. He was awarded with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in 2011. Currently, he is working with three major research projects on algae funded by DST-SERB, UGC, and MoEF&CC, India.
