Dr. Rocio Campos-Vega’s area of specialization is nutrition, particularly the role of bioactive compounds from diet in health, and prevention of chronic disease, with emphasis on digestive health, including colon cancer, and weight management. She has authored/co-authored 25 research papers, 15 book chapters and co-edited 3 books.
