Robert T. Hitlan, PhD is a Professor of Psychology and Director of the Psychoneuroendocrinology Lab (PNEL) in the Department of Psychology at the University of Northern Iowa. He earned his PhD in Social/Organizational Psychology at the University of Texas at El Paso. His research broadly focuses on the antecedents and consequences of social and organizational stressors, including ostracism, rejection, and harassment experiences.
