Rita Cola Carroll, Ph.D., has worked for over 30 years in the field of community-based rehabilitation with a focus on holistic approaches to supporting people in achieving greater independence, quality of life and engagement. Rita completed undergraduate and graduate studies in Psychology and Education, as well as three Advanced Certificate programs at Drexel University, including one in Integrative Addictions Therapies. She has her doctorate in Organization and Management, with a specialization in Higher Education.

Rita currently serves on the Faculty of Drexel University’s Complementary and Integrative Health graduate program, where she teaches, chairs and develops multiple courses. She has specialized training in Mindfulness, Nutrition, Cognitive Rehabilitation, Trauma Interventions, the Science of Happiness, Healing Touch, Reiki, EFT, and other complementary modalities. She is the managing partner of Laurel Lake Consulting, a group dedicated to a holistic approach to brain health and wellness. Rita’s work in Cognitive Rehabilitation and Integrative Addictions Therapies has been published in practitioner and peer reviewed formats.
