Rina Maryanti is a PhD candidate in the Special Needs Education Program at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. She studied Special Education for her undergraduate and postgraduate in Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. She has experience as a teacher and principal at Special School in Kuningan, Indonesia. She is also actively involved in organization, carrying out social activities, fostering teachers and the community, and making the assessment program for children with special needs in West Java Province. Her research focuses on increasing the life skills of students with special needs through science learning at school. She has also published several international journals indexed by Scopus through the research she is working on.
