Prof. Renu Bhardwaj is currently acting as Director of Research at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab (India). She has worked in the Department of Botanical & Environmental Sciences for the last 29 years. Her areas of specialization are Plant Stress Physiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Plant Metabolomics, Chemical Ecology and Ecophysiology, Phytoremediation and Plant Growth Regulation. She has been awarded with more than 20 awards/honours by National & International Agencies for her immense contribution in multiple fields. More than 50 students have been awarded PhD and M.Phil degrees under her supervision. She has more than 250 publications and 4 patents and continuously works in the fields of Plant Physiology, Proteomics and Metabolomics.
