Dr. Ravi Gopal Varma, MBBS, MS, M.Ch (Neurosurgery), FFSN (Clinical Fellowship in Functional & Stereotactic Neurosurgery - London Health Sciences Center, University of Western Ontario London, Ontario, Canada.). He is currently working as Lead Consultant Neurosurgeon in Aster CMI Hospital Bangalore. He was the former Head of Department and Professor of Neurosurgery, Ramaiah Hospitals, Bangalore. He has initiated DBS program in various hospitals like MIMS Calicut, KEM Mumbai, Apollo Hyderabad. He was the first neurosurgeon to be invited as guest speaker in Hindustan Times Leadership Summit to talk about “Unravelling the Brain Enigmas”. He organised the first Annual Workshop in DBS with Live Surgery at Ramaiah Hospitals.
