Ranis Ibragimov graduated from Novosibirsk State University (Russia) and got his Ph.D from the University of Waterloo (Canada). He has been a Monbusho Research Fellow at RIMS (Kyoto University, Japan), a Lecturer at the University of Port Elizabeth (South Africa), Lead Applied Mathematician at GE Global Research (USA) and he is currently an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin – Parkside.
