Dr. Ranabir Banik is an Associate Professor of Physics in the Department of Basic Science and Humanities at the Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM), Kolkata, affiliated with the University of Engineering & Management (UEM). He earned his Ph.D. in Physical Sciences from the Homi Bhabha National Institute, conducting his research at the Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC), Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. Dr. Banik’s research interests include experimental nuclear structure physics, γ-ray spectroscopy, and machine learning applications in nuclear data analysis. He has published extensively in reputed international journals such as Physical Review C, Physics Letters B, and European Physical Journal A.
