Rana Dajani has a PhD in molecular cell biology, is a Harvard Radcliff fellow, a Fulbrighter, Eisenhower fellow, Associate Professor at Hashemite University, Jordan, Yale and Cambridge visiting professor, a member of the UN women Jordan advisory council. She is one of the most influential women scientists in the Islamic World, 12 among 100 most influential Arab women in 2015, Global Changemaker Award IIE/Fulbright, Speaker at TEDxDeadsea, Founder of “We Love Reading”, received the Synergos Arab World Social Innovators Aware in 2009, received the WISE Award in 2014, the King Hussein Medal of Honor 2014, Star Award 2015, IDEO.org Best Refugee Education Program in 2015, and received the UNESCO International Literacy Prize in 2017.
