Rakesh Kumar Saini, PhD, is currently associated with DIT University, Dehradun, India as an assistant professor with more than 15 years of experience in academics. He has been honored as a keynote speaker and session chair at international and national conferences, faculty development programs, and workshops. He has published more than 60 research papers in refereed journals and conferences and over 10 books in the area of computer science and information technology. He has published various book chapters for reputed books. His areas of expertise include wireless sensor networks, energy efficiency using sensors, Internet of Things and cloud computing. He has organized and conducted a number of workshops, summer internships, and expert lectures for students. He is an editorial board member and reviewer of various reputed journals. He is on review boards of many prestigious national and international journals and is an editorial board member for various international journals.
