Dr. Rajan Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He obtained his B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from HPU Shimla and Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar in 2011 and 2013, respectively, and earned his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Mandi in 2017 under the guidance of Prof. Shripad P. Mahulikar, Department of Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. His research interest includes microfluidics and nanofluidics, computational fluid dynamics, MEMS design and microchannel cooling, optimization in thermal devices and energy management, and nano-enhanced phase change material in PV/T system. He has published his research in International Journal of Thermal Sciences, Physics of Fluids, The European Physical Journal Plus, International Journal of Energy Research, Journal of Energy Storage, Transactions of the ASME-Journal of Heat Transfer, Heat Transfer Engineering, and other prestigious international journals. Currently, he is working on a project in the field of solar thermal energy awarded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), India.
